How to request deletion

1. Send an email to info@merogym.com with the subject line Account Deletion Request.
2. Include:
   • Full name
   • Email address or phone number linked to your account
   • Gym or business name
   • Whether you want only your user account deleted, or the full gym organization data deleted (owner requests only)
3. Or submit a message through our Contact page with the same details.

We will verify your identity before processing the request. Eligible deletion requests are typically completed within 30 days.

What gets deleted

When your deletion request is approved, we delete or anonymize:

• Your user account and login credentials
• Your profile information (name, email, phone, role)
• App and account-linked personal data associated with your user profile
• For verified gym-owner deletion requests: organization data you ask us to remove, such as member records, attendance, billing history, and staff accounts tied to that gym (subject to legal retention needs)

What may be retained

We may retain limited information when required for legal, security, fraud prevention, tax, or accounting purposes. Examples include payment receipts, invoices, and records needed to resolve disputes. Retained data is kept only as long as necessary and is not used for other purposes.

Staff and member accounts

If you are a staff user, deleting your personal account removes your login and profile. Gym business data owned by the gym organization remains under the gym owner's control. Gym members whose information was entered by a gym should contact that gym first; the gym owner can update or remove member records inside MeroGym.
